2008_EAGLE RELEASE BIRD POINT : The folks from the Anchorage Bird TLC released an eagle today from Bird Point. The eagle in question wasted no time in getting away from the 'human element'...........so much so that it almost ran me over! Thank you TLC folks for inviting me along.

2007 DELAYED BYE BYE BIRDIE EAGLE RELEASE : Due to inclement weather for the Bye Bye Birdie event on Sept. 8th, the eagle release had to be postponed. Today, Sunday the 9th the weather broke long enough for the Anchorage Bird Treatment & Learning Center to release 2 eagles from their property which sits along Rabbit Creek Road just above Potter Marsh. Gov. Sarah Palin and her children attended the hastily put together realease and assisted in sending the 2 eagles back into the wild.

BIRD TLC - OWL-O-WEEN EVENT : Bird TLC held this event at their clinic in Anchorage. The public was invited to view bird presentations of many different Owls, which are part of their education program. The following images were taken both by myself and Britt Coon a Bird TLC volunteer who has been taking photography classes from me. As we were switching cameras back and forth it was hard to determine which of us took which shots. If you like the shots then she probably took them. :)
