PAWS - ARK 2000 - SAN ANDREAS, CA : Once Maggie was safe and secure in her new home I was able to spend some time capturing the sights of the PAWS Sanctuary...........and I would like to share them with you now.

I would also like to say a 'big thank you' to Pat, Ed and the entire staff of Paws for their hospitality during my short stay there. And to say thank you for allowing me to roam the grounds and get my shots while always keeping in the back of my mind their warning to not get too close to the fences.

CALIFORNIA DREAMING! : After a journey of several thousand miles Maggie finally arrived at her new home safe and sound. Truth be known she looked a lot better than many of us that made the trip with her.

Her trainers, handlers and the staff at Paws were all amazed on how well she handled the trip and how rapidly she took to her new habitat. While not exactly running over to greet her new roomies it was easy to see that she felt right at home the moment she stepped out into her temporary outdoor area.

For someone who has been witness to this entire process I have to say that all the agencies involved in this move deserve a great round of applause for a job 'well done'!
