As part of the Octobearfest celebration at the Alaska Zoo our black bears were provided with 'enrichments'. From looking at the images one may think that the enrichment consisted merely of a garbage can filled with trash. This is absolultely not so.

The can contained specific food groups, favorites of the bears, and they had to use their ingenuity to get at some of the rewards.
